Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of Wildlife Rescue ZA, a division of Namaqua Holdings (registration 2026/732670/07), of Holding 40, R563, Oaktree, Krugersdorp, 1793. These terms apply to Wildlife Rescue ZA specifically. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

The service

Core rescue logging is free. Reporting, data export, and emailed reports require a paid subscription.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be authorised to act for the organisation you register.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed in South African Rand via PayFast, and can be paid by card or Instant EFT. The current price and billing interval are shown on the subscribe page before you pay. Prices are not currently subject to VAT; if this changes, our pricing and invoices will reflect VAT.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until you cancel. Your first payment authenticates your payment method so that future renewals can be charged. You will be shown the full price and given the chance to review and correct your order before payment, as required by the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT Act).

Your data

You retain ownership of the rescue data you enter. You grant us the limited right to store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass access controls, or upload unlawful content.

Availability and warranties

We aim for high availability but do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Except for rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot be excluded, the service is provided "as is".

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law (including the Consumer Protection Act), our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept them.
